We are thrilled to announce that our new book for children is now published and available to buy from all outlets shown below.

This book was written by our esteemed group leader, and local historian, Andrea Yarnell Dakin. We believe it is the first publication of its kind to introduce children to the history that surrounds them.

This year we decided on a spiralbound A4 calendar. The theme is Holywell Then & Now. We hope you'll be interested to see how Holywell has changed over the years.

All-year Calendars 2026

We have 2 themed one page all-year calendars for 2026. Holywell High Street once boasted over 20 public houses - these images are sure to bring back memories of nights out on the town in years gone by. The Holywell Transport calendar shows a selection of vehicles that at one time would have been found trundling around the streets of Holywell.​

Our Christmas cards are back by popular demand! We were amazed to learn that our Christmas cards were sent all over the world last year - Canada, USA, Germany, Australia, to name but a few! We hope the cards will be just as popular this year. Both have beautifully written verses to evoke memories of Christmases in days gone by. Our birthday cards have proved equally as popular, and they too have lovely verses to compliment the pictures on the front.

Discover the captivating memoirs of Cynthia Roberts, a cherished member of our community, who grew up in Greenfield Valley. Originally published in 1998 and 2000, these books have sold over 500 copies each, reflecting their lasting appeal. We are excited to announce the reprinting of these timeless stories, which offer a glimpse into a bygone era of Holywell. You can purchase these memoirs along with our other merchandise and take a piece of history home with you.

Where to buy:

  • Visit us on a Tuesday morning at Holywell Leisure Centre (2nd floor) and buy direct from us. Contact us in advance to let us know which items you are looking to buy. NB: We do not have the facility to take card payments.

  • If you're not local to Holywell and would like us to send items direct to you by mail. In the first instance Contact Us with the details of your order and an email address for us to send you a PayPal invoice. There will be an additional cost for postage, depending on size and weight of the parcel. Payment must be made in advance of us sending out the goods.

  • We will be attending 3 Christmas Fairs this November, All of our merchandise will be available to purchase at both of these events. Please visit our Events page for more details of venues and dates.

  • ​We have recently entered into a partnership with new retailer Nexus Creative Spaces, the pop-up shop behind the Post Office in Holywell Town Centre. All our merchandise is beautifully displayed in there and ready to buy.

  • All of our books are currently on sale in the gift shop at Greenfield Valley Heritage Centre. NB: Open mid-February to the end of October 10-4
