Holywell Reminiscing Group was founded by local historian Andrea Yarnell-Dakin in 2021. Andrea's family have lived in Holywell and the surrounding areas for over 200 years, giving her first-hand knowledge of the history of the town.

The motto of the Reminiscing Group is EVERY MEMORY MATTERS

If you have memories of Holywell going back 20, 30, 40 or 50 years and beyond, you are welcome to join us at our weekly meetings to share your memories with us. We meet on a Tuesday morning (10-12) in our room at Holywell Leisure Centre. 

Alternatively, please visit our Facebook group, a private group where our members can safely share their memories and photos. Explore our extensive photo album with over 500 images, and you may just spot a family member or landmark from years gone by.
